General Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all activities at Cera Cerni Art Hub. Upon purchase of any services available at Cera Cerni Art Hub (’The Hub’) you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and your enjoyment of the services shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions, as they may be amended from time to time, without further notice to you. Paying for any of The Hub’s services, you explicitly confirm that you have read our terms of service, which you fully understand and agree to.

We often photograph, and occasionally film events within our venues for marketing and promotional purposes. By visiting any Cera Cerni Art Hub venues and events you grant permission for your likeness to be used without compensation or additional approvals in any form from your end. At the Art Space, you can take photos and record video, upon our approval use professional equipment for content creation and freely post such photo and video materials with free access over the internet, broadcast in TV programs, etc.

We use our reasonable efforts to include accurate and up to date information on all pages of our website. Information is for guidance only and is not intended to form any part of a contract and can be subject to change without notice. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or cumulative losses or damages arising out of the use or inability to use these pages, any errors, misrepresentations or omissions on the material contained on them.

The information on the pages of this website has been prepared with reasonable care and is believed by us to be legal, honest, decent and truthful as of the date of its preparation.

In relation to a dispute arising out of this website you the user and agree to submit exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts of The Federal Republic of Nigeria.

CUSTOMER SAFETY REGULATIONS

  1. Our acrylic, water-based paint usually does not cause allergic reactions. Nevertheless, if you believe you may have any medical condition that makes it unsafe for you to participate in this activity, please consult with your doctor or refrain from engaging in any of the paint based services.
  2. Among the recreational painting services delivered at Cera Cerni Art Hub, there is a service called ‘Shoot ur Shot’. This Art Experience includes the use of pneumatic and airsoft guns for shooting plastic bullets at the balloons filled with paint. Using such guns, make sure to comply with the following safety regulations:
    • Do not point the gun at yourself and/or at other people in the Hub space.
    • Do not look into the gunpoint.
    • Do not shoot at any other targets except the ones specially designed for the service.
    • Do not take the gun by yourself, without the operator’s permission.
    • Make sure to use the protective eyewear when shooting at the balloons included in the service.
  3. For Pottery Services and to create paintings, we use pottery spinners; as such, the clay or paintings spin on the wheel at a very high speed. Until the wheel has completely stopped spinning, it is strictly prohibited to:
    • Try to stop the pottery spinner by yourself.
    • Touch the spinning elements of the spinner until it has stopped completely.
    • Turn on or turn off the pottery spinner motor on your own.
  4. If you engage in any of our Art Services with minors, you, as a parent or legal guardian of such minors, are responsible for explaining the safety regulations to them and making sure the rules are complied with.
  5. Cera Cerni Art Hub does not assume responsibility for theft or loss of your personal belongings.
  6. The Hub features swings designed using portions from a tricycle and a car tire. We are not responsible for possible accidents, including a fall from the swing, bodily injuries suffered, and/or damaged property as a result of use thereof.
  7. Cera Cerni Art Hub reserves the right to reject a request for participation in the ‘Shoot ur Shot’ service or any other service if a customer appears to present visible signs of alcohol or drug intoxication, with only 75% refund of the payment made by such a customer or on behalf of the customer.
  8. Cera Cerni Art Hub is not responsible for partial or complete damage to your painting (including loss) from the moment it is handed-over to a courier service, transportation company, or, by your request, to any third party.
  9. As a condition of taking part in any activity provided by Cera Cerni Art Hub, you agree to execute and sign the Waiver Agreement.

CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

  1. Cera Cerni Art Hub and its employees are not responsible for children and adults in case of non-compliance with the Safety regulations and rules established by Cera Cerni Art Hub within the premises of the Hub.
  2. In case of obscene comments made by a customer, insults towards the employees or other guests, physical confrontation, and aggression, we reserve the right to refuse the provision of the Hub’s services to the offender and make the offender leave the premises of the Hub Space. In such a case, the payment made by the offender will be retained in full regardless of the time already spent on the service or the remaining time. We reserve the right to fully prosecute any offender in accordance with the law.
